On Diet continues my exploration of food-inspired human connections — where people blend, clash, and sometimes leave a bitter aftertaste. Like a meal, some combinations surprise, others don’t quite land. 

But at its core, On Diet is about restraint. It’s a quiet rebellion against excess — a choice to hold back, to edit, to trust that less can be more.

With a limited palette and deliberate marks, I explore how holding back creates space for deeper feeling. Every texture, every silence on the canvas, is intentional. Restraint becomes its own language — one of patience, precision, and purpose.

Like a dish with no unnecessary garnish, these works ask you to listen closely, to notice what’s not being said. Because often, the most powerful truths live in what we choose not to reveal.
