FAQs

WHY MAKE ART?
Because it's fun, liberating, and it heals.
I want to share the experience of art-making with others who are seeking for it. I want others to feel alive because of art. Whether from my art or other artists, as long as you experience it and let it empower you.

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATIONS?
Everywhere. I'm listening constantly to what's calling to me. A memory from my early days in Asia, or today's current events. Anything and everything that excites me or upsets me. And sometimes it's just because.

DO YOU HAVE A STYLE?
Currently I'm exploring abstract forms. But my "style" evolves as I evolve as a human being. I went from painting realistic, to expressive, then graphical art. All are part of the fun of exploring this craft. And I'm honored to have you tag along with me on my journey !

WHAT IS ABSTRACT ART?
Abstract art is open to interpretation, and that is one of the beautiful things about it. Abstract art doesn't jump out and declare "THIS is what I'm all about." Instead, abstract art requires you to have an open, inquiring mind; you must enter the painting and see where it takes you. More here

DO YOU ACCEPT COMMISSION WORK?
It'll be fun to work together with you!. Usually we meet in person, we chat and figure out together what you'd like from the piece. The process can take a couple of weeks to a month.

DO YOU HAVE A PRICE RANGE?
Here is an example of a few common sizes with their accompanying price range.
12" x 12" : $250 - $450  |  24" x 24" : $650 - $850  |  36" x 36" : $1,200 - $1,500  |  48" x 48" : $1,800 - $3,500
