Lights Within is a series inspired by my mom’s eating habits during her chemo treatment, watching how food became both comfort and contradiction.

Nourishing yet sometimes “off-limits,” it carried humor, stubborn joy, and the spark to keep going.

These works are playful tributes to resilience and appetite, reminders that healing isn’t a straight line. At their heart, they celebrate the love, light, and laughter that show up even in difficult times.
